Terms of use

Choose the relevant product or app family.
These terms distinguish the LFEM local finite-element workflow from the optional LFEM Agent online service.
01 — Local product
LFEM is professional finite-element software for supported Desktop and iPhone/iPad platforms. The local application can create, validate, solve and inspect models without LFEM Agent.
The exact model limits, commercial rights, supported devices, activation requirements, updates and duration of each Free, Trial, subscription or perpetual offer are those shown before activation or purchase.
02 — LFEM Agent
LFEM Agent is an optional online assistant. It may propose controlled model changes, invoke local LFEM tools and summarize diagnostics or selected results. It can make mistakes and does not certify a model, replace professional judgment or assume engineering responsibility.
Desktop file access is limited to a work folder explicitly authorized by the user. Proposed changes and tool results must be reviewed before they are relied upon.
03 — Accounts, allowances and purchases
Local Free use and LFEM Agent have distinct requirements. Agent access requires an account, an internet connection and an available usage allowance or credit balance. Applicable prices, included allowances, renewal, cancellation and refund conditions are displayed before purchase.
Purchases may be processed by an app store or Paddle depending on the platform and offer. BridgeKernel may reconcile the entitlement across supported devices associated with the same personal account.
04 — Engineering responsibility and acceptable use
You are responsible for model geometry, discretization, properties, loads, combinations, boundary conditions, analysis options and interpretation of every result, including changes proposed by LFEM Agent.
Do not use LFEM Agent to process data you are not authorized to disclose, attempt to bypass workspace or usage limits, or use the service unlawfully.
05 — Ownership, availability and liability
You retain rights in your LFEM files and project outputs. BridgeKernel retains all rights in LFEM, LFEM Agent, documentation and included content. Online Agent, account, purchase and update services may occasionally be unavailable.
The applicable end-user license and mandatory law govern warranties and liability. Contact contact@bridgekernel.com with questions.
