LFEM is local-first. Modeling, validation, solving and result viewing run on the device. LFEM Agent is a separate, optional online service and sends only content explicitly used in an Agent request.
01 — Local LFEM workflow
LFEM model files, local validation, solver input, solver output and result views remain on the device during the normal local workflow. A local solve does not upload the model or its results.
Account, entitlement and license checks do not include model or result content. Local LFEM features remain usable without enabling LFEM Agent, subject to the entitlement and activation terms of the selected offer.
02 — Content sent to LFEM Agent
LFEM Agent is online and operates only after a deliberate user request. Depending on that request, the service may receive the prompt, relevant excerpts from the open model, diagnostics, bounded result extracts, conversation context and tool responses.
On Desktop, an image attached by the user or a targeted LFEM view generated for visual analysis may also be sent. The complete local project is not silently uploaded merely because the Agent panel is open.
03 — Cloud processing and providers
Agent requests pass through BridgeKernel's authenticated gateway. The current service uses DeepSeek for text reasoning and tool orchestration and Google Gemini for image analysis when a Desktop visual request requires it. Provider configuration may evolve; this policy will be updated when the production processor list changes.
Account identity, entitlement, credit balance, request status and conversation identifiers may be processed to authenticate the request, prevent abuse, apply usage allowances and restore a conversation across supported devices.
04 — Retention, history and deletion
Agent conversation content and operational request records are retained only for providing conversation continuity, support, security, abuse prevention and accounting for Agent usage. They remain associated with the account only as long as required for those purposes or applicable legal obligations.
Account deletion triggers deletion of personal and Agent data from active BridgeKernel systems, except records that must be retained by law and limited security or backup copies pending normal expiry. AI providers may apply their own strictly limited service and security retention under their processor terms.
05 — Choice and data rights
You can keep the workflow strictly local by not using LFEM Agent. Before sending a request, remove any confidential or personal information that is unnecessary for the task.
